I was out in my backyard today, building a tent pavilion out of a decommissioned parachute I picked up at an ArmyNavy surplus store for $70, when the wind picked up and pulled me around the post till I let go. Then I thought, "hey, I could make a decent sail out of this cloth!" Since the parachutes mostly lay flat, and are usually round, what would actually need to be done to make Quidnon's sails out of a decommissioned parachute or two? And if we could do this, would it save enough money to be worth the effort?
